So sorry to hear of Art's passing and I'm so glad that so many classmates got to visit with him at the reunion. John mentioned him in any conversation he had regarding classmates or just Tracy in general. He will be missed around the table but remembered with smiles and wonderful memories. Linda and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Art’s passing. He was one of the good guys, honest, straight up and loyal. My dad thought the world of him and so did all who knew him. I am praying for peace in the new year for all of you. Jackie and Gary Ruppert

I am sending heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Art's family and friends at this very difficult time. How do you say goodbye to a friend, a friend you shared a childhood and young adult time with. Having Art as a classmate over all the years was a true blessing. He was our Class President and the person everyone wanted to be and to know. Not only was he kind, fun and smart, but someone you always knew you could count on. Rest in Peace, Art, and thank you for the memories.

What a lovingly crafted obituary! It captured the essence of Art's life and personality and was a delight to read. Bob and I valued Art's thoughtful, objective and keen intellect. He was practical and steady with a dash of whimsy tossed in. (Cougar hunting!) Hand in hand you modeled how to build a life of love for family and community. Art will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. With heartfelt sympathy, Bob and Barb Purves
