She attended country school and later graduated from Westbrook High School. On August 11, 1959, Audrey married the love of her life, Marvin Clayton, in Slayton. The couple moved various places while Marvin was in the U.S. Air Force, including England and Florida. They eventually made their home on Audrey’s family farm near Westbrook where they raised their family. Audrey enjoyed life on the farm, helping out and raising the animals. To pass the time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and making beaded jewelry. Audrey loved to listen to the Beatles and Elvis, and she even toured Graceland. Most of all, her greatest treasures were her grandkids and great grandkids.
