Bobbie Ernest Albrecht age 35 of Westbrook passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his home. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 1st at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bobbie was born June 16, 1987 in Tracy, MN to Ken & Lindy (Jensen) Albrecht. He attended grade school at St. Mary’s in Tracy. He attended Westbrook Public Schools, and later Windom High School. Bobbie was married to Amanda Groebner on September 9, 2006 at Falls Park in Sioux Falls. Together they made their home in Westbrook. After his schooling, Bobbie moved to Sioux Falls where he worked at Qdoba and Show Place Wood Products. After he returned to Minnesota, Bobbie worked for Christensen Farms. Most recently he was employed at the Minnesota Soybean Processing Plant and he also cooked at Bonnie & Clyde’s in Westbrook. Bobbie loved fishing, especially ice fishing. He also loved to cook, and made smoked cheese and meat. He also made his own home brewed beer. Bobbie also enjoyed taking care of his rose bushes and orchids.
Bobbie is survived by his wife Amanda of 16 years; children: Jacob, Kenzie & Andrew; parents Ken & Lindy Albrecht of Fulda; siblings: Angel (BJ) Becker of Albany, MN, Monica (Clint) Struiksma of Sioux Falls, SD, Melissa (Matt) Bednar of Lamberton, Nikki Albrecht of Benson, Stacey (Adam) Bottelberghe of Windom & Boomer Albrecht of Windom; grandma Donna Albrecht of Westbrook, aunt Patti Booze of Heron Lake; mother and father in law: Allan & Robin Groebner of Springfield; brothers and sisters in law: Adam (Sarah) Groebner of Springfield & Angie (Eric) Daun of New Ulm; Godparents; Tommy, Scott & Patty Evers; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Amery, grandparents Bobbie & Grace Jensen and uncle Patric Booze.
