Brian Lee Ludeman, age 73 of Tracy, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at home under the care of his wife and Avera Home Hospice. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Tracy City Cemetery. Memorials to Tracy Lutheran Church are preferred.  Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brian Lee Ludeman was born March 10, 1950 in Tracy to Sander Ⅳ and Mary Lou (Starken) Ludeman. Brian grew up in Tracy and graduated a Scrapper in 1968. He attended Augustana College, University of Minnesota, St. Paul Campus and graduated with a degree in Psychology from Southwest State University in Marshall. On August 22, 1970, Brian was married to Bonnie Klein. They lived in St. Paul before returning to Tracy when Brian joined the Ludeman family farm operation. Together they raised two children, Amanda and Lucas. Brian farmed with his brothers Sandy and Cal until his retirement. Through the years, Brian enjoyed hunting, trapshooting, golfing and was most passionate about fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their many and varied events. For a time, Brian participated in Rock Steady Boxing, a wellness program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.

Brian is survived by his wife Bonnie of Tracy; daughter Amanda (Seth) Thompson and their children Madelyn and Paige all of Welch and Chloe of Grand Forks, ND; son Lucas (Laura) Ludeman and their children Landon, Lawson and Layton all of Hudson, WI; and brothers Sander Ⅴ (Peggy) and Cal (Debbie). He is preceded in death by his parents Sander Ⅳ and Mary Lou Ludeman and his brother Paul.
