As next door neighbors, it has been amazing to watch the beautiful example of commitment and family that you lived out. So many evenings would find the two of you, side by side, strolling down the gravel road, soaking it the nature, fresh air, and each other, with the dog trailing along behind. A strong marriage like that takes work, but sets such a wonderful foundation for future generations. Thank you for honoring God and your vows. Dave was a wonderful man indeed, and everyone who knew him was blessed by the ripple effect he left behind. 🙏🏼 May the Lord be your comfort and foundation through this time. ❤️

I am shocked and saddened to read of Dave's passing. He and I worked together at Harvest States in the 90's and Dave was a great guy. I enjoyed reading the Marshall Independent over the years and every once in a while would see the Swenhaugen name in the sports section thinking, "that's got to be one of Dave's." He will truly be missed by those who knew him.

We both are so sorry to hear of Sven's death. He always had a smile on his face. And it didn't take much to get a chuckle from him whether he found what you were saying funny or not. And he was always willing to get Cindy a Sex on the Beach beverage knowing she didn't like ordering them herself.

Dave was my rock. He was the most reliable, honest and humble person I have ever worked with. Dave had the best sense of humor and the calmest of demeaners. You will be missed dearly my friend. Thoughts and prayers to the whole Swenhaugen family and especially you Cindy.
