I feel like I was friends with Deanie from birth, but we would have met at age 3 when we started going to Sunday School at Sharon Lutheran Church. His home was near my cousins' farm and he went to country school with them. We had Play Days when that school would visit ours and I remember him being there. We both attended country school for 1st and 2nd grade before they were shut down and we were sent into town school in Lamberton. He stood up for me once when some other kids were being mean to me. He was that kind of friend. I am terribly saddened by his death.

Bruce Graff, Darlene & Dean Albertson. Taken at a Lamberton HS Class Reunion at the Lamberton Legion. My husband Bruce and I enjoyed many fun times over the years with Darlene and "Deanie" as I always called him. I knew him since grade school. He was a fun loving guy who adored his wife Darlene with all his heart. He is loved and will missed by all. Sincerely, Elona

Dean was an amazing person and was the best neighbor to my parents and our family. The silly pranks they would do each year makes me laugh to this day. I also asked Dean & Darlene to take my parents out for a motorcycle ride so my sister and I could throw my parents a surprise 25th anniversary party...of course they had too much fun on their ride that they ended up being late to their party. Deano, you will so very missed. Say hello to Darlene for me.

So very sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed being around Dean. He was always laughing and joking around. Rob and Dylan, you both have some very strong traits that you got from him! Next time I see any of you, I want you to tell me a memory. That's how we will all keep him safe in our hearts. Our condolences to the entire family.
