Troy and the entire Schumacher family. I am terribly sorry for your loss. Gary was a very special man. Gary had a heart of gold & warm welcoming spirit. Gary was known and respected by all in the community. He was a hard worker yet always had time for others. Whether on the farm, at school, or at a game it was easy to see how much Gary loved Mavis and the kids; he was proud of them all. I don’t think Gary ever missed an event for his kids. I always remember Gary being happy to see me; in the awkward teenage years that was so meaningful. In the heartache of your loss I pray you are also reminiscing about the wonderful memories you have together. Angela (Schlemmer) Nalipinski

Our sincere condolences to the Schumacher family. We will always have fond memories of Gary. He was truly an example of a Godly man. God’s words to Gary had to have been, “Well done, my servant”.

So very sorry for your loss, Mavis and family. Gary was a special man, Darrel thought so much of him as did I. He was a man of great integrity who was loved by many. He will be greatly missed. Margie Baune

Gary was a terrific guy. One of the first farm visits I made at Wabasso was to the Schumacher farm. Gary and Mavis were welcoming, insightful, and honestly one of the best couples I’ve ever met. A great man with a great family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Schumacher family. I remember as a kid when our parents would visit each other as neighbors did back in the day. Eva Bloedow Harder
