Gregory Prescott was born June 26, 1956 to Albert and Evelyn (Goodthunder) Prescott in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church in the Lower Sioux Community.  Greg attended & graduated from Morton Public Schools. He then worked for Lussenhop construction until he started Prescott construction.  Later, Greg & Chuck started River Ridge construction.  Greg then started Prescott Sanitation and had many other jobs within the Lower Sioux Indian Community.  He later drove semi-truck for Rick & Ryan Kramer Trucking & Everstrong.  Greg enjoyed watching sports especially, Nascar & the Minnesota Vikings.  You could often find him playing his buffalos and blackjack at the casino with his friends.  He enjoyed spending time at the coffee shop with his brother and nephews.  But most of all Greg loved being with his grandkids.  He was a hardworking, well respected man who took very good care of his family and will be dearly missed by all.

Greg is survived by Jolene Lucio & Kelly Desjarlais; his children: Jorey (Cassie), Cassie, Mattea, Tammy, Lisa (Khristian), and Daniel (Lanoy); grandchildren: Hannah, Dallas, Brody, Chetan, Zaya, Elijah, Kaymarie, Kylee, Jesse, Cadence, Amaya, Jace, Lillian and Nova; siblings: Gary (Diane) Prescott, Deb (John) Robertson, Denny (Michele) Prescott, and Don Prescott; and sisters-in-law: Sara and Brenda Prescott. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Jerome (Carol), Roger, Les, and Mick (Cheryl) Prescott, grandson Julius Desjarlais, sister-in-law Ann Larson, brother-in-law Marvin O’neil, grandparents, and many aunts & uncles.
