Harvey Eugene Moseng Sr. was born July 9, 1947 to Gaylord and Ruby (Ueland) Moseng in Tracy, Minnesota. He was confirmed at Our Saviours Lutheran Church of Baxter, near Montevideo. On July 17, 1976, Harvey was united in marriage to Margaret L. Getchell at the Getchell family farm near Glenwood.  Harvey worked various jobs over the years to provide for his family. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing rummy and ranger rides.  You could often find him having coffee with the guys at McDonalds.  He enjoyed spending evenings at Jackpot and listening to music. His main love was his grandchildren.

Harvey is survived by his children: Harvey Jr. “JR” (Kim) Moseng and their children Owen & Abby Moseng of Wood Lake and Laura (Cory) Guetter and  their children Jesse Moseng, and Bella & Wyatt Guetter of Wabasso; siblings: Wayne, Norma, Donna (Earl) and Linda; longtime family friends Brad & Jenn Larsen; and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, sisters Bev & Judy, brothers Speedy and Galen, niece Lynn, nephew Kelly Jo, and “adopted daughter” Helen Leenerts.  The family would like to express their gratitude to the Avera Hospice Nurses for their wonderful care and support.
