Jane would have loved all of these loving messages. She told me about how staff often stopped by to visit, which she loved. I too have been thinking about the kitty which she adopted years ago. Jane and I met at GVLC/LBI at age 18 and became roommates the first year. We have maintained our friendship over these past years, mainly thru the phone. I will miss her deeply. I am sending a memorial to Mt. Carmel Family Camp in her name. Love and sympathy to: Al, Annie, Lou & Donna, Joel & Lanny and families

I met Jane about 50 years ago when she lived in Brooklyn Center. Jane was a very special friend, and I will really miss her! We kept in touch through cards and phone calls. I loved her inspiring words of faith and sense of humor! She is celebrating her birthday today (October 22) in heaven with Jesus! I want to express my deepest sympathy to Annie, Al, Donna, Lanny and their families. May God comfort you with His love and peace! A donation has been sent to Lutheran Hour Ministries in Jane's memory. Love, Paulette

I knew Jane when she lived and worked in Marshall and visited with her at Oak Hills many times. I loved her like a sister. I loved her sense of humor. Even though our visits were spread out, every time we visited it was like we had never been apart. She had a great faith and I loved her dearly. I will miss her and her giggle. RIP, Girlfriend!

Sincere sympathy and prayers to Annalisa and Al and all of her family. Great memories growing up as neighbors on the farm, and I remember Jane well, even though she was younger. May God grant Peace to you Donna and Leann.

Jane was a resident that I will never forget! I will miss our late night conversations at the hills. She was so kind and was always so concerned about us staff as if we were family. I will miss her greatly and so will Macy the cat!!

To Jane's Family - I was so sorry to hear of Jane's passing on when I look at the computer tonight. My deepest sympathy to each of you. I remember how much she and I played as kids at the farm. I would love to go up to her far, and we would play on that wonderful swing that you had just SE of the house and then go in and have a piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It was so great to see you Donna at the Ruthton 4th of July celebration this past summer. Love and Prayers, Lois

Jane will be remembered by me for her enthusiasm and upbeat mood she could bring to me through our conversation. She loved to read and would share a list of good books to read some of which I actually did read and did enjoy. As a new employee of the State of Minnesota way back 21 years ago, Jane was a very good support and wealth of knowledge of how to do things when I needed help. We wrote to each other several times throughout these last years and enjoyed her letters of reply. I wrote to her recently but never received a reply which was very unusual for Jane...I was worried then about her health. I am sorry to hear of her passing and send my thoughts and prayers of comfort to her family. Signed Judy Forde, Friend and fellow past employee
