Sending my deepest condolences to the entire McKay family on your loss. May the inspiring lessons Janean taught you; the homespun stories you share; and her many loving, selfless acts of service bring you comfort in mourning. As a younger cousin, I always felt close to Janean for we exchanged letters, emails, and on occasion phone calls. She was my sponsor and made time to send thoughtful gifts or items from her travels. I still have a NT Bible times book she gave me fifty-some years ago. Though our hearts are troubled, Janean\'s light is still shining in that \"prepared place\" and we shall look forward to our reunion in eternity. God bless you and heal your sorrow, gently lifting it with His peace. John 14:1-4

Our sympathy to the family of Janean McKay. She was in my extension group. She liked to talk and share things she knew. We were sorry to hear of her struggles the past year after her fall. It is hard to lose a mother. May God grant you all peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead. Blessed be her memory! Diane & John Woodford
