Janet Marie (Massey) Vosberg was born to Russell and Ruth Alma (Patterson) Summers Massey in Jacksonville, IL where she also completed her schooling. After meeting Donald “Don” Vosberg in the Twin Cities, they married on Dec 9, 1961 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Dovray. They moved to Westbrook and bought a business in Dovray in the mid-1980s. They loved traveling and toured Europe, went on an Alaskan cruise, wintered in Florida, Arizona, Texas and Colorado and visited cousins in Luxembourg. Family and friends went on a number of their trips. Jan brought home tulips from a trip to Holland that are still growing on the side of the house 30 years later. Jan worked in the office at the Westbrook Hospital and Clinic (now Sanford) where she got to know everyone. She was there just 2 days short of 40 years. She was a quiet, reserved lady. She loved her boys Bruce and Roy. She enjoyed quilting with the church group ladies. Jan was a member of WELCA, a bible study group and the Legion Auxiliary. Jan was a golfer.

Jan is survived by her husband Don; son Roy (special friend Jane Fonger); brothers-in-law: Dale (MaryAnn) Vosberg and Gordon (Linda) Vosberg. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Bruce in 2012; sisters: Frances Edmonds, Betty Summers, Doris Rigor, Lucille Poe, and Virginia Summers; brothers: John Summers, Richard Massey and David Massey.
