Jennifer Ann Moritz, age 66 of Redwood Falls, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Havenwood of Burnsville, after a 10 year battle with frontotemporal degeneration dementia. Private Services will be held.  Interment will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration donations at www.theaftd.org.  

Jennifer Ann (Jensen) Moritz was born May 19, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Bernard and Ethelene (Garvey) Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Jennifer graduated from Cooper Senior High School in 1973, and attended Hennepin State Junior College for a year. On November 17, 1990, Jennifer was united in marriage to Timothy Moritz at St. John Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Jennifer worked for Told Development Corporation in Minneapolis from 1986-1997 before moving to Redwood Falls in 1998 to work for the Minnesota Inventor’s Congress. She regularly volunteered her time to help families in need through Share The Spirit. Her dogs, Lucky and Daisy, brought her great joy. Jennifer enjoyed gardening, decorating, and cleaning. Fridays were often spent shopping with her mother-in-law, Theresa. She loved spending time at her lake cabin on Lake Florida, and she loved taking vacations.

Jennifer is survived by her brother Steven (Joan) Jensen of Florence, AZ; mother-in-law Theresa Moritz of Redwood Falls; sister-in-law Lori (Al) Lidbeck of Bird Island; nieces: Andrea (Kris) Jedda of Peoria, AZ and Sarah (Trevor) Sharbach of Lakeville; nephew Steven Jensen, Jr of Maple Grove, MN; great nieces and nephews: Kiara & Cullen, goddaughter Taylor; step great niece and nephew: Pam Coleman of Austin, TX and Dan Walker of Colorado; her dearest friends: Patty Amberg, Cindy Schablin, Carol Kodet, and Barb & Glenn Nelson; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tim, and father-in-law Stan Moritz.
