Jesse “Fox” Fox, age 36 of Lower Sioux Community, went home to Mama Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his home.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Lower Sioux Community Center.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 1 at Lower Sioux Community Center and will continue until the time of service.  Interment will be in the St. Cornelia’s Cemetery at the Lower Sioux Community.  Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, guests will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines. A 50% indoor occupancy restriction will be maintained. 

Jesse “Fox” Fox was born November 17, 1984 to Robert and Colleen (Cavender) Fox in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He was baptized at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church at Lower Sioux Community.  Fox attended Redwood Valley Schools in Redwood Falls and later graduated from Eci’ Nompa Woonspe in Morton.  He had a natural athletic ability and was good at any sport he pursued such as baseball, basketball and hockey.  Fox also enjoyed ATV sports such as dirt bikes and 4 wheelers.  A large part of his life was enjoying his music.  Fox was a loving, kind and easy going person.  He would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need.  Fox was very family oriented person and loved his mom, friends and family.  He enjoyed spending time with family and attending family gatherings.

Jesse is survived by his sisters: Taya (AnnMarie) Kaufenberg of Maple Grove and Laise (fiancé Patrick Jordan) Fox of Lower Sioux; nieces: Clementine Kaufenberg, Wynonah Flores, Waste’ We Flores, Havanah Fox, Skye Fox, and Omarion Jordan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Collen Lothert, step-father, Dennis Lothert, and brother, Todd Michael Kaufenberg.
