Kevin Mischke, age 53 of Westbrook, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024.  Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook.  Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Westbrook Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.  Interment will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosehill Township. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kevin Mischke was born November 12, 1970 to Duaine and Janice (Jenkins) Mischke in Windom, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from Westbrook High School. Kevin worked on a dairy farm during and after high school for a local farmer. He then worked as a heavy equipment operator for Boecks construction of Westbrook, Fishels Construction of Storden and Friedges Construction of Lakeville. He later worked at St. Paul Utilities of Little Canada. Kevin lived in Storden and Westbrook and eventually bought the family farm south of Westbrook. He was a member of the Local 49ers Union. Kevin enjoyed gardening and participating in pool league.  You could often find him tinkering on small engines, drawing or painting. Kevin loved hunting, fishing and sitting by the fire at his lake home.

Kevin is survived by his daughter: Maisie (Grady) Hakl; bonus children: Jessica, Dustin, Coby and Tabitha; grandchildren: Brynnlee Jo, Lyanna, Rudy and Hazell; 13 bonus grandchildren; siblings: Cindy (Kevin) Burns, Leeland (Jayne) Mischke and Deb Mischke; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Duaine and Janice, grandparents Kenneth and Gloria Jenkins, high school sweetheart and mother of Maisie – Jennifer Ennenga, significant other Cindy Mahon, brother Scott Mischke and great niece Amara Gosnell.
