Lesley Marie Sagedahl, age 51 of Wabasso, passed from this life into eternal life on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home surrounded by family after a brave fight with cancer. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wabasso.  Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at the church, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday.  Interment will be held at a later date.  

Lesley was born on August 9, 1970 to Robert and Yvonne (Koopsma) Sagedahl in Glenwood, MN. She was baptized October 4, 1970 and confirmed May 4, 1986 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.  Lesley attended high school at Wabasso Public School and continued her education at St. Cloud Technical & Community College.  She was a dedicated member of the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she participated in the Alter Guild, and was a Sunday school and Bible school teacher.  She was also very active with Relay for Life.  Lesley was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed attending the MN Lynx and Gopher Women’s basketball games with family and friends.  She loved family gatherings and being with her many circle of friends.  She also enjoyed the many friendships she made over the years while working at Jonti-Craft.  In her spare time she liked to do embroidery, puzzles, reading, camping, traveling, playing cards and attending bingo.  Lesley adored her many nieces and nephews and thoroughly enjoyed attending all of their school activities.

Lesley is survived by her parents Robert and Yvonne Sagedahl of Wabasso; siblings: Lisa (Paul) Arnoldi, Jack (Shelly) Sagedahl, and Daren (Melissa) Sagedahl; nieces and nephews: Carli (Andrew) Menigoz, Joeli (Christopher) Kretsch, Maddy Sagedahl, Allie Sagedahl, Garrett Sagedahl, Taylor Sagedahl, Jordan Sagedahl, and Drew Sagedahl; great-grandnephew Graham Kretsch; special family friends: Tim, Amy, Jacob and Megan Iverson.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joe and Tina Koopsma and Opal and Cornell Sagedahl.
