Linda Marie (Atkins) Engler was born March 25, 1946 to Edward and Evelyn (Weis) Atkins in Tracy, Minnesota. Linda was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Church in Ann Township and graduated in 1964 from Walnut Grove High School. On April 22, 1967, Linda and Roger W. Engler were united in marriage at St. Olaf Church, embarking on a journey filled with shared memories. She worked at Penny’s in Tracy for a few years, as well as helping with chores on the farm. Linda’s relationship with her mom and dad was deeply meaningful, she talked with them daily and found great joy in the moments they shared. She loved spending time with her family – nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as her cats and her dogs. Her nephew and godchild, Ricky, would talk on the phone every day to check in and know they were there for each other. Linda adored gardening and taking care of her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed canning jams, pickles and vegetables, driving tractor and doing chores on the farm, and baking, especially pies.

Linda is survived by her husband Roger of 59 years; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Atkins and her special nephew Ricky.
