Margee Kay Kronback, age 76 of Tracy, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, January 16, 2024 with her children by her side following a short battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Key Largo Lake Shetek. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Margee Kay Kronback was born January 5, 1948 to Franz and Doris (Kuck) Hoppenrath in Belview, Minnesota. Margee grew up and attended school in Belview. In 1964, she married Ivan Taylor and they shared four children together. Marge later married Raymond “Judge” Kronback and spent many wonderful years together. They found their favorite place to be was enjoying life on Lake Shetek. Margee was best known for her artistic talents and shared her artwork with family and friends. She enjoyed following and watching Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings. Margee mastered the talent of giving her opinion with a hint of sarcasm that could make others smile. She loved following all local high school sports especially her grandchildren’s teams.

Margee will be deeply missed by her children: Tracey (Steven) Besser of Litchfield, Michele (Vaughn) Nordhausen of St. James, Wade Taylor of New Prague, and Heidi (Jeff) Irlbeck of Sanborn; grandchildren: Taylor & Alexi Besser, Chelsea (special friend William LeMieur) & Kalli Nordhausen, Vayda Taylor, and Mitchell (special friend Alaina Goblirsch), Leah (fiancé Sawyer Bernd) & Tyson Irlbeck; siblings: Gale Jensen of Belview and Wendy (Tom) Decknatel of Sacred Heart; and nieces & nephews: Kimberly (Lou) Hagen, Shane (special friend Amalio Nieves) Jensen and Kristin (Tony) O’Donnell. She is preceded in death by her parents Franz and Doris Hoppenrath, former husband Ivan Taylor, husband Raymond Kronback, brother-in-law David Jensen and niece Kelly Ann Fullerton. Blessed be her memory.
