Mark J. Willemssen, age 49 of Sioux Falls, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at his home. Private family services will be held. 

Mark Justin Willemssen was born July 13, 1972 in Westbrook, Minnesota to Merle and Rosemary (Einertson) Willemssen. He graduated from Westbrook High School and also attended the University of South Dakota. On June 22, 1996, Mark was united in marriage to Laura Miner, and they were blessed with two daughters. They were later divorced. Mark worked as a truck driver, loved vacationing in Florida, and playing with his dog.

Mark is survived by his daughters: Madeline Emma of Omaha, NE and Elizabeth Claire of Huron, SD; parents: Merle and Rosemary Willemssen; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and brothers: Paul and Matthew Willemssen.
