Natalie K. Lothert age 53 of Belview passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a difficult battle with cancer.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marshall.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.  Interment is in the Belview Cemetery.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Natalie was born December 3, 1967 in Kanab, UT to Larry & Wanda Hunt.  She grew up in Fredonia, AZ, Brownwood, TX, & Phoenix, AZ, before returning to Fredonia where she graduated from high school.  In high school, she played clarinet in the band, and was active in sports.  She played basketball, and was part of their state championship team.  She also participated in track and field & loved to play softball.  Natalie met her husband through a mutual friend by the name of John Schear.  Natalie married Darwin Lothert on September 11, 1987.  They moved to Vista, CA where they began their journey in the Marine Corps.  They were stationed in Keneohe Bay, HI, Yuma, AZ, Camp Pendleton, CA, Great Lakes, IL and Miramar, CA.  Natalie endured many deployments and became a strong woman that could accomplish anything.  After retiring from the Marines, Natalie and Darwin moved to Olivia, MN and have spent the last twelve years in Belview, MN.  She has had many jobs, but the one she found most satisfying was as a para at Echo Charter School helping the students.  Her most recent job was at Christensen Farms.  She loved working with pigs and the challenges that came with it.  Natalie has three children that she loved very much; John Wesley, Nichole Kristine & Jacob Elliott.  She was family oriented and would have the kids over for dinner most nights.  Her biggest love was her grandchildren; Autumn, Gwynavere, Anakin, Myra, Waylin & R’lyeh.  She loved to go camping, doing crafts, watching the Hallmark Channel and being surrounded by family.

Natalie is survived by her husband Darwin; parents Larry Hunt and Wanda Graham; sister Laura (Glen) Whited; brothers Ross (April) Hunt and Alan (Irene) Hunt; children: John (Emily) Lothert, Nichole (Craig) Bingham & Jacob Lothert (friend Katrina); grandchildren: Autumn, Gwynavere &Anakin, Myra, Waylin & R’lyeh; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents Pauline Opal and Ross Hunt.
