Norman Joseph Ousky was born October 21, 1938, in Wanda, Minnesota, to Thomas and Mattie (Meyer) Ousky. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Brenda Fixsen, on June 20, 1959. They spent 67 wonderful years together and were blessed with 5 children. They lived near Vesta for several years before moving in 1963 to their current home, between Belview and Echo, where they made a life farming. He retired at the age of 82 but stayed actively involved as his son took over. His love for farming remains in the family as his grandsons now work the land.

Norman was a humble man of faith, hardworking, kind and caring with a great sense of humor. He treasured his family and was their rock. Anyone that spent time with him was treated like family.

When Norman was 12 years old, he had Rheumatic Fever. He was bedridden for nearly a year, leaving him with a damaged heart and a shortened life expectancy. This led him to live life to the fullest. He loved anything mechanical. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, trucks and tractors, traveling, motorcycling, camping, fishing in Canada, sprint car races and bus trips. But his greatest joy was his family.

Norman is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; children: Theresa (Ronald) Gilland, Jolene (Charles) Steffl, Jeffery (Stacy Helmer) & Deborah (Patrick) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Jill Ousky; 11 grandkids: Tommy, Josh (Ashley), Coral (Josh) & Jade (John), Jessica (Jaime), Brooks (Holly), Melinda (Brandon) & Priscilla (Nixon), Brittany, Joe (Nicole) & Tim (Courtney); 4 bonus grandkids: Danny & Derek, Dan & Amanda; 28 great-grandkids: Michael, Kennedy, Madison, Samuel, Matilyn, Gabrielle, Ayden, Charlotte, Abel, Aiden, Addie, Indy, Sawyer, Ambrose, Jedrick, Emerick, Aaliyah, Alexis, Callie, Emily, Layla, Mila, & Hunter; 5 bonus great-grandchildren: Kaelynn, Drake & Rory, Lane & Braxton; and sisters-in-law: Kathleen, Sandy, & Janet.

Preceded in death by his son, Tom; parents; sister, Marilyn; brother, Dwane; brothers-in-law: Orman Jr, John, & Ivan; sisters-in-law: Darlene (Ray), Trudy (Yvo), Eva (Jay), & Becky; bonus Granddaughter, Brittney.
