Ramona K. Kuehl was born September 13, 1944 in Slayton, Minnesota to Delbert and Gwendolyn (Norton) Kuehl. She was baptized at St. Rose in Avoca and confirmed at St. Anthony Church in Westbrook. She attended country school District 67, then spent two years in the Storden school system, two years in Westbrook High School, and two years at Slayton High School, graduating in 1962. On June 23, 1962, Ramona was united in marriage to Gene Larson at St. Ann’s in Slayton. They lived in Westbrook and moved to the farm when Gene’s parents retired. After many years at the farm, Gene and Ramona bought a house in town. Ramona worked at the Dovray Manor for many years. She also worked at The Corral in Fulda, the American Legion in Storden and in Tracy. She loved horses, spending time at the cabin, playing bingo and solitaire. Other pastimes were boating and bowling. Ramona had a passion for traveling; she had been to all 50 states and enjoyed visiting National Parks. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Ramona is survived by her daughters: Tracy (John) Harrell of Coon Rapids, MN and Ruth Larson of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren: Grant and Garrett Harrell; sibling: Sylvia Onken of Slayton and sister-in-law, Darlene Kuehl of Yorkville, IL, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene, her parents and her brother Eldred.
