Renee Marie Hagedorn, age 58, was called by our Heavenly Father from her home in Tracy, Minnesota on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Renee Marie (Giersdorf) Hagedorn was born March 11, 1965 to Leonard and Carmella (Richie) Giersdorf in Mankato, Minnesota. She spent her childhood in Mankato and most of her life in the surrounding area. Renee was a devoted Catholic who lived her life through the hands of God. “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalm 23:5 which ultimately lead her to her greatest pride, family. Renee’s cup would be filled with her greatest joy, her daughters. She took great pride in her daughters Casandra (Wade) Hrdlicka, Jessica (Troy) Tolzman, Jenna (Brad) Kirksey, Samantha (Jack) Dougan and Megan Boyd. Family was her priority and she had a lifelong friend in her children’s father William Boyd.

In November of 2014 Renee met her true love, Chris Hagedorn and the two were married in July of 2015. They had a special bond and friendship that words do no justice. Renee enjoyed camping with her husband and stepson, Gavin. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed traveling, especially chasing dolphins – her greatest treasure. Renee’s spiritual beliefs were often shared with those she loved and truly showed through her friendships.

Renee is survived by her husband; six children and their spouses; 12 grandchildren whom she cherished most: Carter, Tayton, Alyssa, Dru, Damian, Vanessa, Tarek, Jocelyn, Joseph, Hadley, Colton & Lydia; siblings: Chris (George) Muellerleilie, Lisa (John) Zimmerman & Dan (Dez) Giersdorf; great friend Dean White; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph Caminati.

Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at DT 118 Saloon in Waterville, MN. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
