Reva Rose (Parker) Berntson, age 94 of Storden, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Good Samaritan Society in Westbrook. Celebration of Life will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Storden American Legion. Private family interment was held in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Storden. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Reva Rose (Parker) Berntson was born August 7, 1931 to Bernard and Pearl (Olsen) Parker in Slayton, Minnesota. She was baptized in the Storden Baptist Church and graduated from Storden High School in 1949. On April 1, 1950, Reva was united in marriage to Donald Oleson and they made their home on a farm outside of Storden. After Donald’s passing, Reva met Arnold Berntson and the two were united in marriage on December 28, 1988. Reva worked at the Storden post office and spent most of her time caring for their house and children while her husband worked on the farm. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in ladies aid. Reva was proud to provide food for her family meals grown from her garden. She enjoyed playing piano and organ. She loved playing board games with her kids, especially aggravation and rook. Reva was a strong-willed woman and believed in good family values.

Reva is survived by her children Victoria (Gary) Zarn and Karen (Russell) Fay; grandchildren: Stacey Groen, Shannon Oleson, Heidi (Jeremy) Anderson, Jesse Fay and Sydney Fay; and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Donald Oleson and Arnold Berntson, children Reid & Sandra Oleson, and sister Jean Parker.
