Ron was a kind, hard working, and dedicated teacher. I remember him fondly. May his family find comfort in knowing that this is not the end. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Ron's passing. But am glad that the family was able to be there by his side. I have always had a special place in my heart for both Ron and JoAnn, since JoAnn grew up with my mother in Fairfax and they both chose a Borchert son to marry. I want to thank you for remembering my mother in Ron's obituary - I appreciate that a lot. Sharing so many qualities our dad's were really stand up men, loved the outdoors and animals and loved teaching and helping people. But best of all, they were each really independent individuals who cared deeply about the world around them. Ron will be missed!

You have my deepest sympathy! I am grateful for having seen both Mr. and Mrs. Borchert at our 40yr High School Class Reunion this last summer! I'm also grateful for the picture taken. I have so many good memories with you dear people, especially the many drives over to church in Tracy and the stopping for "coffee" and rolls on the way home. A good man, for sure. May God comfort you during this great loss in your lives. Be gentle on yourselves during these days of grief and transition. Know of my prayers for all of you. With deepest sympathy...Rosine

JoAnn, Steve, Becky & Sarah, Ron was such a positive light in this world and I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to him. He was always kind to me and made me laugh on every occasion. The last time I saw him I was able to take him on a 4-wheeler ride and we had such fun. I'm fortunate to have known him. My love to each of you.

Joanne and family, You have our deepest sympathy. Ron was one of the favorites there at BHS. He would often remind me that we shared the same birthday. What. Great man and person to look up to. He will be missed by all who knew him.

JoAnn, Steve, Becky and Sarah - My heart goes out to all of you and your families. As you reading all of the notes through social media - Ron was loved by many. He was a rock solid teacher and coach. He knew how to make the classroom and locker room fun, yet was serious about education and sportsmanship. I can clearly remember where JoAnn's and Ron's classrooms were -- literally next door to one another! What a partnership at home and at school. Hold tight your Dad's smiles, laugh and of course his stories! He will continue to live through you!

Sending condolences to all. Ron will always have a special place in my heart and memory as he cultivated a love of golf in me. Many great memories of driving over to Tracy C.C. at 6am during my college years to get in a quick 18 or 36 on that brake less golf cart. Blessings to all.
