Sandra Lynn Seehausen, age 79 of Redwood Falls, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her home. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24 at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Sandra Lynn (Bidinger) Seehausen was born August 15, 1946 to Nicholas “Bud” and Ruth (Arterburn) Bidinger in St. Cloud, Minnesota. At the age of two, Sandy’s family was involved in the Quarry Business and moved to Redwood Falls, where she was baptized at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. The following year her family moved to Morton. Sandy later received her First Communion and was Confirmed at St. John Catholic Church in Morton. After graduating from Morton Public High School, Sandy married the love of her life on June 10, 1964. To this union, three sons were born, Chad, Troy and Cory. Sandy enjoyed being part of their many family adventures, which included: a hardware store, raising horses, a lumber yard, building houses, a carpet store, the Diner, Fil-mor Inc. and Flexor Inc. She was an active member of St. John Catholic Church, where she was a eucharistic minister, was involved in the CCW, and was a circle chairman for many years. Throughout her life Sandy enjoyed baking, and canning tomatoes, pickles and fruit. She made lots of jelly, which she loved sharing with family and friends. Her many hobbies included bowling for over 40 years, golfing, embroidering dish towels and playing cards. She enjoyed having coffee with the Morton Gals “support group” on Thursdays at BP in Morton. Sandy loved going to lunch with her friend Sally and her Morgan friends.
Sandy is survived by her husband John of 61 years; sons: Troy John (friend Cathy Morowitz) and Cory Mathew (Natalie); grandchildren: Taylor (Curt) Hardwick, Nicholas “Nick” (friend Marcella) Seehausen, and Addison Seehausen; great granddaughter Eleanor Ann “Ellie” Hardwick; siblings: Karon Brown and Bill “Billy” Bidinger; and many nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Bud & Ruth, son Chad Jeffery, sister-in-law Patricia “Pat” Bidinger, and brother-in-law Gerry Brown.
In her life Sandy faced many major medical issues but was also known for her surviving spirit through All of it.
