Stanley G. Osland, age 86, of Tracy, MN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Monday, January 5, 2026 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Tracy Area Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Storden. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Stan was born March 28, 1939 in Windom to Selmer and Grace (Warner) Osland. He was baptized and confirmed at Highwater Lutheran Church south of Lamberton. Stan received his education from country school near Jeffers and Jeffers High School. On November 1, 1958, Stan married Joyce Springer at Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden. Together, the couple made their home in Tracy. They were blessed with four children. Stanley worked as a foreman for MNDOT, working for the Highway Department. He was a very dedicated worker and never complained about having to work many irregular hours. Stan was a longtime member of Tracy Lutheran Church. He taught Sunday School and was on the church council. Stan took part in Bible Studies and led the Key 73 Billy Graham Outreach in Tracy. Every Sunday, he provided sweet rolls. Stan volunteered as a driver for Western Community Action for 20 years. Always caring for others, he would often ask “Have you eaten lately?”. Some of Stan’s pastimes were fishing and bowling. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing. Spending time with his family was Stan’s all-time favorite pastime; his nieces and nephews were always very special to him.

Stan is survived by his wife of 67 years Joyce; children: Rosalie (Mark) Krause of Springdale, AR, Rodney (Sherry) Osland of Abilene, KS, Shelley (Tyrone) Fiegen of Cary, NC, & Kendall (Michele) Osland of John’s Island, SC; grandchildren: Matthew (Cortney) Krause & Philip Krause; Paula Bigham, Curtis Osland, Vanessa Tiede, Derek (Jill) Deines & Alaina (Brandon) Perez; Aubrey (Mark) Rose, Caleb (Sydney) Osland & Luke Osland; great-grandchildren: Ella, Evan & Eli Krause; Bradley & Emma, Samantha, Adam, Nathan, Wyatt, Andrew, Malee, Lockett, Raychel, Bryce, Oliver, Hunter, Ryder & Myah, Kaiser & Cillian; great-great-grandchildren: Emelie, Luna, Charlotte & Penelope; siblings: Lyle (Joyce) Osland, Roger (Carley) Osland, Lowell (Val) Osland & Bonnie (John) Meier; and many other relatives & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Ryan Fiegen and sister Betty Kronback.
