Terry Louis Erickson, age 67 of Walnut Grove, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy.  Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at Walnut Grove Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Avoca.  Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Terry Louis Erickson was born on October 13, 1956 to Gerald and Mary Jane (Niehaus) Erickson near Iona, Minnesota along with his twin Jerry. He was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. Schools that Terry attended were Blackduck, Avoca, Slayton, Park Rapids and Minnesota State Academy for the Blind in Faribault. He continued his education at Detroit Lakes Vocational School for small engine repair. He worked doing construction and concrete for a time. Terry later worked at Swift & Company in Marshall and finally at JBS in Worthington. He enjoyed helping people in town and was one to pick up aluminum cans. In his spare time, Terry loved fishing and bicycling.

Terry is survived by his siblings: Arlys (Doug) Jacobson of Colorado, Jerry of Walnut Grove, Wayne of Windom, Lila (Todd) Horner of Montana, Kristi (Bob) Timp of South Dakota; several nieces & nephews; and aunt Carolyn (Bruce) Slocum of Windom. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Marvin.
