Vicki Ann Johanneck, age 68 of Redwood Falls, formerly of Seaforth, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Vicki Ann (Bliss) Johanneck was born to Don and Ursula (Shemon) Bliss on September 25, 1954 in Redwood Falls. She received the Sacraments at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaforth. Vicki graduated from Belview High School in 1972. On May 25, 1974, Vicki married Mike Johanneck. Together they lived in several communities before settling in Redwood Falls in 1982. They worked for Quesenberry Appliance before buying the water conditioning business in 1984. They enjoyed traveling and going to conventions together. In 1995, they moved the business to its current location on the east edge of town. In 2015, they passed their business along to their children but never really “retired.” Vicki was a hard-working woman. Some of her pastimes were walking, canning, watching sci-fi shows, shopping for gifts for her children and grandchildren and her favorite thing – camping. Vicki spent many hours helping people during the day, and then went home and helped family and friends.

Vicki is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Mike; her children: Jennifer (significant other Alex) of St. Cloud, Scott (Michelle) and Jason (Amanda) of Redwood Falls; grandchildren: Emma, Harper, Haven, Taylee, Kasen, Camden & Kolin; siblings: Jody (Wayne) Steffen of LeCenter and Tom Bliss of Arizona; and many other relatives & friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Joyce Becker.
