I worked with Wendell for many years. He was one of the most polite and trustworthy individuals that I have ever met. Praying for strength and comfort during this difficult time.

My sympathy & prayers are with you Adele & your family. Wendell's kind & gentle spirit will sure be missed. He was such a wonderful food shelf volunteer! Always a smile & kind words as he helped folks get food to their car. Love & Hugs, Margaret Palan

To Wendell's family-- we have not met, but I knew Wendell in the late 60s-early 70s when I still lived in Marshall. He was a kind, gentle soul with that twinkle in his eye back then too, just as he is described in the memorial to him. From what I read, it sounds like he lived his entire life in the same way that I and our mutual friends knew him. He was a gift to the world. My condolences to all of you; the void you now feel must be heartbreaking. And yes, his memory is a blessing.

Job Well Done, Wendell. Job Well Done. 6 years with you as a classmate was a privilege for me. Many knew me as Tonie, for many years. Once a Scrapper, always a Scrapper. Proud of you. Say hi to our classmates up there. Good ole THS Class of 1961, turned up side down, still 1961.
