Shirley Anne (Kusler) Lehnhoff, age 81 of Lamberton, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton. There will be no services at this time. Private family interment will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, MN.  Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shirley Anne (Kusler) Lehnhoff was born February 4, 1938 to Louis and Sophia (Mutscheknaus) Kusler. She graduated from Jackson High School in the late 1950’s. Shirley was united in marriage to Nicholas Lehnhoff on July 13, 1957 in Jackson. Together they had six children Tammy, Dawn, Jody, Darwin, Loren, and Brian. They were married for 21 years and later parted ways. Shirley lived in Lamberton throughout her whole life. She worked for Valley View Manor for over 20 years. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing video games, fishing, and spending time on the internet. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Shirley will be deeply missed for her good sense of humor and caring personality.

Shirley is survived by her children: Dawn (Thomas) Lanoue of Wabasso, Jody Lehnhoff, Darwin (Donna) Lehnhoff of Revere, and Brian Lehnhoff of Lamberton; 12 grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; sister Betty Boettecher; and sisters-in-law: Laverne “Sally” Kusler and Ruth Lehnhoff. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tammy Ludke, son Loren Lehnhoff, grandson Josh Lehnhoff, and brothers Willmar and Lawrence Kusler.
