Skyler Duane Dean Gregg age 15 of Morgan walked on from this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 25 at the Lower Sioux Community Center.
Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lower Sioux Community Center and will continue until the time of services on Monday. Prayer services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Interment is in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Skyler Duane Dean Gregg was born March 28, 1997 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Dennis Gregg and Chris Johnson. He attended Eci Nompa Woonspe School in Morton and was currently in the 9th grade at Redwood Valley High School. Skyler enjoyed playing with various drum groups. He loved music and going to concerts. Skyler was one with his music, heart, and soul. He enjoyed going on trips in the semi with his dad, especially to California, Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. Skyler loved his family and hanging out with his many friends at the secret spot. He also loved being with his brothers at Dillon’s house and spending time with his niece Serenity. He loved caring for all the pets and animals, being on the football team, and grilling out and eating pizza. Skyler possessed an old soul with great wisdom for a young man, treated people with respect, was a good listener, and had a very calm personality.
Skyler is survived by his parents Denny Gregg and wife of Redwood Falls and Chris Bartelt and husband Andy Marriott of Morgan; siblings: Dustin Marlett of Cottonwood, Dustin Gregg in the USMC in California, Dillon Gregg of Redwood Falls, Karver Gregg of Morgan, and Addy Garcia of Olivia; grandmother Barbara Black and husband Jim of Norfolk, VA; step grandmother Hazel Johnson of Minneota; aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, cousin Bradley David Mauer, uncles Kenny Gregg and Brad Johnson, and step dad Mike Bartel
