What a gift it has been to be her pastor the past 20 months. Because of her health, that has worked out to be a great deal of visits. She was always happy to see me, even if she was disgusted with her condition. Delna shared her whole self. Her faith was a thing to witness. So much love and pride in her family, always asking for prayers for them before herself. She made the best out of nearly all situations and found ways to feed, care for, and affirm me and so many. Rest in peace, dear one.
