John A. Jensen was born on September 8, 1944, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, to Orvin and Lillian (Nelson) Jensen. At the age of 18, John began his career as an independent truck driver for Central Bi-Products, a role he dedicated many years to before retiring in 2011 to lovingly care for his wife, Judy. Never one to sit still, John later found joy delivering vehicles for Olson Chevrolet, traveling across ten states and embracing the open road he loved.
John will be remembered for his quick wit, warm sense of humor, and generous spirit. He had a kind heart, always ready with a hug, and cherished every moment spent with his family—especially his grandchildren. He served as president of the Aspenwood Housing Association and was a longtime, active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. An avid bowler, John participated in numerous leagues and tournaments and proudly achieved several perfect 300 games.
John is survived by his children: Lisa Prater of Colorado; Michele (Tony) LeFebvre of Edina; April (Brent) Berreth of Moorhead; grandchildren: JR Baune, Sadie Brandon; Isabelle, Louis & Henry LeFebvre; and Christopher, Carsen and Kaitlyn Berreth; great-grandchildren: Kalli, Emersyn & Waylon; step-son Tim (Wanda) Hilton and their children Avarie & Graham; siblings: Sandy Malecek of Redwood Falls, Jim Jensen of New Ulm & Butch Jensen of Redwood Falls; along with many other relatives & friends.
