I only met John a couple of times at his granddaughter, Kaitlyn's, dance shows, but he was always kind, welcoming, and so supportive of his family. April (and family) - Sending you the biggest hug, always! You are forever on our hearts, and I wish you didn't have to feel this loss! May God watch over you and bless you with healing in the remembrance of your dad!

John was one of the most kind persons I’ve ever met. Had so much fun bowling with him over many years except when I had to bowl against him. Don’t think I ever got the chance to win against him. Rest in peace my friend. He will be missed.

Sonny pretty much grew up on the farm with my family, and was like a big brother. He always had a quick wit and a great smile. Him & my brother Kenny were good at shenanigans and sunny had many stories about him. We're sorry but we are unable to come down for the funeral. We want to extend our love and prayers to all of Sonny's family. We will miss him, you never knew when you'd have a great message on the answer machine from him. Mike and Lorraine Johnson

John was always friendly sitting in front of us at Saturday evening church service. He was proud of his shiny black pickup that he drove to church. Our sympathy to John's family. May God comfort his family and give them strength in the days ahead. Bless be his memory. John & Diane
