Rogann Renee (Deslauriers, nee Kiihn) Peterson, age 50 of Tracy, formerly of Dovray, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Our House Hospice of Murray County in Slayton. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home with a livestream on Stephens Funeral Service Facebook page. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16 at the funeral home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment is in the Tracy City Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rogann Renee (Deslauriers, nee Kiihn) Peterson was born November 20, 1971 in Westbrook, Minnesota to Roger and Eunice (Merkel) Kiihn. She grew up in Dovray with her sister Penny, and brothers Robin and Jay. Rogann attended grade school and high school in Westbrook, MN. She then went to further her education at Redwing Technical College for Computer Science. Following her schooling, Rogann was employed at Redwing Eagle Newspaper as Direct Mail Manager. Rogann then married Stuart Deslauriers and was blessed with her daughters Hannah and Maddie Deslauriers. Rogann then moved with her husband Stuart to raise their family on a beautiful farm outside of Currie, and worked at the Currie State Bank in IT. Rogann and her former spouse Stuart spent 17 years of marriage together. Rogann then found a new beautiful home in Tracy, MN with her current spouse Patrick Peterson and was surrounded by care of her animals, husband, and family. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, canning, and loved all of her animals. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Avera Hospice and Hospice of Murray County for the loving care they gave to Rogann.
Rogann is survived by her husband Pat Peterson, daughters Hannah Deslauriers (Mike Gillen), and Maddie Deslauriers; grandchild Baby Gillen due in January 2022; parents Eunice Kiihn and Roger Kiihn; siblings: Penny (Dean) Wyffels, Robin (Theresa) Kiihn, Jay Kiihn; and many nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; in-laws; and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Karen Peterson and Jake Peterson.
