Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

My sympathy to Roger’s family. He was a wonderful person and friend. We had many conversations about life’s challenges and he told so many stories about his youth. He talked about his love of his family and his faith. I will cherish the memories and miss his friendship. Thank you for sharing your dad with me so I could have one again.

I learned a lot from coach Kiihn, and playing baseball and softball with him. I caught him in baseball and can verify he threw a lot of junk which had batters falling backwards. He was always fun to be around because he always had good stories. My sympathy to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to Roger’s family.

Our sympathy and prayers to the Kiihn family. Roger was one of the best story tellers in the area. Loved to visit and had many friends. Never forgot a name or an anecdote. He was a very good baseball pitcher. Threw a lot of junk, curves, drops, sliders. Knew his basketball, would draw up plays at the drop of the hat. A good friend and served our school district well. He'll be sorely missed.

Many memories are going through my head in regards to Roger. From being the dad of my best friend in High School, and for all the hours spent with him in gym and riding the bus during basketball season. I remember him wearing that purple tie to every game my senior year. He decided to challenge us. Every game we won, we could cut an inch off. By the end of that season, it was pretty difficult to put that tie on. Rest high Coach! You will be dearly missed, and never forgotten.
