I have many fond memories of Shahn, spent my younger days having a lot of fun growing up in Grays Bay , we used to have so much fun hanging out at Shahn's house or throwing the frisbee down at Gro Tonka park. I saw Shahn about 14 years ago at Marty's reunion Grays Bay gang it was one of my best memories. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. He was a great friend and will be missed very much. Jim

I grew up in the neighborhood with Shahn and his family and have many great memories of all of the fun we had growing up together in Grays Bay. Shahn had a whistle that was unique and you could hear him whistle from a mile away. Always knew how to find his location at a concert by that whistle! He will be missed by many and our prayers and thoughts go out to his family. Jerry and Kim Hatz

As a next door neighbor, I didn't get to know Shahn well, but with my husband and I both being diagnosed with cancer, he was always offering to carry in groceries or help with yard work. He will be missed.
